LWB was a fabulous host for our group event. We had a group of 10 for dinner. Service was great and the pizzas were quick to the table and fantastic.
Long wine list. Watch the cooks hand toss the dough for the pizzas. Pizzas are cooked in a brick oven for that delicious, bubbly char.
Great little restaurant with good cooks and good service. If you go there for the wine you’ll love this place. Maybe the pizza tastes better after you had a few maybe. I like gourmet pizza but not this place for some reason. The meatballs and breadsticks were ok. I like the music they played and they even had a speaker in the bathroom. The place was very clean and nicely decorated.
Drove up from Iowa City on a Wednesday to celebrate a friends birthday.
Awesome small space with plenty of seating, but very busy! The atmosphere was great and the service from our waitress was excellent.
It also was half off bottles Wednesday!
The pizza was exceptional and they have a true pizza oven. The meatballs and burrata appetizers were my favorite I’ve had.

Somebody put their whole heart and soul in this small town restaurant. One of the best dining experiences iv had in Iowa. I recommend the greens pizza.

This place is 100% worth the short drive from CR. The wine selection is well curated and the pizza is probably the best Neopolitan style I've ever had, not wet and soggy like most but still thin and just floppy enough. Though they offer any classic pizza you could want, they also aren't slavish purists either, which was refreshing. The salmon pizza and the artichoke pizza were both absolutely delicious and very unique without being weird, and the margherita was perfectly executed. The atmosphere was also wonderful, it's comfortable and unpretentious but still very nice.
Really great food and a neat little place.
